Dean gives oversight to staff initiatives and development, Mesa groups, Sunday morning gatherings and operations.

In September 2020 Dean and his wife Cass moved to North Texas to be closer to their children and reached out expressing interest in attending and serving where needed. God’s perfect timing.

Dean has been in ministry for almost 40 years serving primarily as a worship pastor and most recently as associate pastor. He graduated from Taylor University in Upland, Indiana, The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, Kentucky, and holds a doctorate in worship studies degree from the Robert E. Webber Institute for Worship Studies in Jacksonville, Florida. He is also a certified executive coach serving the church in worship renewal, organizational health, and leader development. Dean and Cass are both originally from Ohio and have been married for 36 years. They have two sons, one granddaughter and one on the way. He is a lifelong runner, and enjoys cooking and occasionally painting.
