Candice oversees internal and external communications for the church, coordinates Sunday worship volunteers and connects with visitors and newcomers. 

 

Candice is a native Texan and was confirmed and grew up as an Episcopalian. She and her husband Mike sensed God’s calling them back to their Anglican roots and began attending Resurrection in 2019.

 

Candice has had a couple of careers, one in the hospitality industry and the other as a school teacher. For several years she served as a small group leader and Soul Care Coordinator at Irving Bible Church. She is passionate about Bible Study and her Christian spiritual formation and was trained as a Christian Spiritual Director in a two-year program called Selah.

 

Candice and Mike live in Flower Mound with their two furry babies, Huxley and Hattie. She is an avid reader and studier of God’s Word; loves going for daily walks with her dogs and is a real foodie. She enjoys college football and spending quality time with her Big Fat Lebanese family and friends. If she could travel somewhere in the near future it would be Italy with her husband, with a quick stopover in Paris.
