Laura is a native Texan, grew up in DFW and later graduated with a BS in Kinesiology from The University of Texas at Austin. After moving to Baton Rouge to work in college ministry to Louisiana State University students and later to work in biomedical research, she met and married Nick in 2005. They decided to make a life in Istanbul to serve the church there. After 15 years of many adventures, including 7 years of teaching Kindergarteners in Istanbul, they have made the Flower Mound/Lewisville area their home with their three teenage kids, Nate, Peter and Annie (along with their dog Mars, who also made the move from Istanbul). After joining Anglican tradition, Laura came on staff in June of 2025. 

 

Laura loves sports, especially volleyball, good food from any culture and spending time with friends and her family.
