Jon currently serves as our Interim Music Minister and has been involved in leading worship for over 25 years.  He has experience leading in a variety of musical styles, ranging from modern worship music to traditional hymns, and enjoys pursuing a blend of songs each Sunday to help facilitate congregational worship that is engaging, formative, and God-glorifying. 

 

Jon lives in Flower Mound with his wife of nearly 25 years, Emily, and their four children (one has recently graduated from college and started a real job!).  Jon was born and raised in San Antonio, but lived in Louisiana for nearly 20 years, before relocating to the DFW area over 8 years ago.  He’s been a member of Church of the Resurrection since then and has previously served on our Leadership Council.

 

Jon is a corporate banker by trade, with a BA in Economics from Louisiana State University and MBA from Tulane University.
